The Practitioner Seminar gives investment practitioner professionals an opportunity to share  their latest research with an audience of fellow investment practitioner professionals.

The focus is on practical insights and actionable takeaways.

Guidelines for speakers

Submissions will be assessed against the following criteria:

Practical relevance

• The focus should be on the applicability of results rather than the methodology itself.
• Innovation and rigor are obviously welcomed,
• For practitioners, the crucial question is:  “So what?”

Supporting material

• A paper is desirable (now or in due course), but not essential
• Detail provided at submission improves chance of selection.
• Slides or equivalent are required a minimum of 10 days before the seminar.

Sales-free / non-commercial content

• presentations must not be a sales pitch!

Academic discussant.

• Analytically complex presentations may be assigned an academic discussant.
